When we moved to New Orleans three years ago, Michelle was our first sitter and we could not have been luckier to have found her. We came home from that day out to find our three kids laughing and the house decorated with paper snowflakes. The kids had been engaged in creative play the whole time and were completely in love with her. We have since used her countless times as our regular date night sitter, but also for longer special events, emergency school pick ups, and more. Michelle is the most reliable sitter we have ever had. She is communicative, flexible, and able to put you completely at ease given her wealth of experience. You can tell how much she truly cares for the children she watches and over the years she has become like a member of our extended family. I could not recommend her more highly.

Michelle watched my son on a weekly and biweekly basis from the time he was 3 months old until he was nearly two. What's more, she also occasionally - and without any hesitation - took on care of both my son and my daughter, who is five years older, for eight hours at a time when my daughter was out of school...and did a beautiful job! That's not easy, especially with such an age spread! Michelle is reliable, engaged, smart, funny and creative. She loves my kids and my kids love her. She comes up with creative games and activities for the older child and, as soon as she arrives in the morning, is on the floor with my younger child engaging in his world with laughter and conversation, books and songs. Since she came into our lives, I have always felt completely supported in my parenting goals. I never had to fear that she would not show up. I never had to fear that she would spend her days staring at her phone. She was totally on board with my son's schedule, napping and meal needs and always seemed to really enjoy her time with him. What's more, she always enthusiastically offered me a detailed report when I got home, filling me in on his days -- the ups and downs, the best moments and any worries. I never had to play 100 questions! I love Michelle and will forever be grateful for the loving care she has provided the most precious people in my life. I cannot recommend her more highly.

Michelle watched our two children at our hotel so that my husband and I could have a date night while on vacation in New Orleans. She was fantastic! She is obviously very experienced with children and it shows. The kids loved her! She even managed to get my one year old to sleep in her crib, which was something I couldn't even do any other night of our vacation! I will definitely call her again next time we are in town. Highly, highly recommend!

We stayed in the French Quarter and Michelle babysat our son on Friday and Saturday night. She was happy to be flexible with end times since we didn't know how late we were going to stay out which was nice that we didn't have to decide before we left the house. She also didn't bother us with parking or directions, etc. She just showed up exactly on time and ready to play with our son! Michelle listened to every instruction and cue about our son that we told her and she followed them exactly. You instantly get a warm and trusting vibe from Michelle and I would be happy to use her services over and over again.

Selecting a babysitter sight-unseen for an out-of-town event is difficult. Michelle made things easy for us-- we chatted over the phone to discuss our 8-month old and she made us feel at ease about working with her. On the day-of, Michelle arrived at our hotel, got to know our little boy, and then we left for an evening wedding. Several hours later, we returned to find our little boy fast fed and asleep (even though he had refused to sleep for us the night before at the hotel!), and the room tidied up from all his play items. Michelle was so sweet to our little guy, we would absolutely use her again in a heartbeat next time we return to New Orleans.

I can't say enough good things about Michelle. We were traveling from Chicago for New Orleans' Jazz Fest, and were in need of babysitting help for 3 children. Michelle was so kind from the very beginning, emailing and responding to questions quickly, and then so personable during our phone calls. Needless to say, her profile shows that she has tremendous experience, and this proved true throughout our stay. Having 3 kids under age 5 made us all careful in selecting a sitter, and Michelle turned out to be a true angel. She was so flexible, kind, and patient. The kids took to her right away, playing games with her and looking pretty comfortable the whole time!! If you are looking for help in New Orleans, Michelle is definitely the person to call! We will definitely call her again the next time we make it to NOLA!.

Michelle was great. She watched our children while we went out on New Year's Eve. I hadn't left my 1year old with anyone before and I never worried for a moment once I met Michelle. Michelle was phenominal. The story here is that my husband and I planned to take our 10 month old and his beloved baby sitter to jazz fest this year. Close to last minute, our baby sitter cancelled and we found ourselves in quite a bind. We joined sittercity.com, posted a couple jobs and Michelle was one of the many that answered. While I was feeling very apprehensive about picking a sitter from halfway across the country, after one conversation with her I felt at ease. She was smart, funny, personable, extremely knowledgable about babies from a developmental perspective - all around she just made me feel really confidant about her and our decision. When we arrived in New Orleans, my husband connected with her by phone to discuss logistics and he too hung up feeling great about her watching our baby. When Michelle arrived, she was everything she was on the phone and more. Her warmth, confidence, smiling eyes made JP smile immediately and within minutes he was smitten. My husband and I walked out and did not hear one peep from him in protest. We returned hours later to a soundly sleeping baby and Michelle sitting closely next to him reading a book under a dimmed light. From start to finish, she really was fantastic. We can't wait to go back and already have her booked for next year's fest!
