Hello! My favorite jobs I've held have all been ones where I've worked with kids, and I desire to keep that going! I've worked with children in various settings, including social work, daycare, in school, the library, summer camps, and more. Additionally, I've worked with children since I was about 12 years old, starting my career young with babysitting gigs as I put myself through school and college. I am confident of my superb skills working with children of all ages, from newborn and infant to school-age; my favorite age to work with are the littles, especially babies and toddlers up to kindergarten age! I bring to the table a bachelor's degree and valuable experience of behavioral and mental health psychology training, which I utilized greatly within social work working with children with behavioral issues and trauma backgrounds. I can mold to what your child needs, while teaching positive skills, Read more such as manners, taking turns, communication, and more, along with educational skills developmentally appropriate for their age and schoolwork aid. My most recent childcare jobs were working in elementary schools as a case manager working to build those same skills aforementioned, and before that I was a preschool teacher. I love more than anything seeing children thrive, I've found it to be a passion of mine. I believe that childcare is more than simply babysitting, it's about being a safe person for your child and an additional avenue to provide both education and fun! I am also trained in first aid and AED, as well as child abuse, mental health, crib safety, and developmentally appropriate milestones.
