I’ve started babysitting at the age of 12 with my older sister who taught me a lot about working with young children. There were two families we babysat for regularly until the children were old enough to take care of themselves. I over watching them grow and change into the young adults they are today. I always tried to keep it fun and be active with the children while being firm and adhering to the rules set by the parents. I’ve been working in child care for about 15 years with children between the ages of 3 and 5, but feel comfortable with all ages. I do have a cpr/first aid certification through the state of SC.
