***I am not accepting new families at this time. Hi families! I'm just hoping to provide part time grandma services! I have 2 grown children, but no grandchildren yet! I spent the first half of my career with infants and toddlers and I miss rocking babies, so I'm looking to provide care in my free time. Professionally, I am a teacher with Birth- Kindergarten certification and over 30 years of experience working with infants, toddlers and preschoolers. I am currently the preschool special education lead in Wake County Public Schools. In my 33 years, I have worked directly with children as a teacher and as an early intervention developmental therapist. I have also worked with children and families as an administrator in multiple programs. I volunteered in an infant classroom, as well as the NICU. Newborns are my specialty and they make my heart smile. As a public school employee, Read more I have passed all fingerprint and background checks. I completed the background check here as well. Additionally, I have child care credentials. I have been CPR trained in the past and have started the course available here. Please feel free to reach out with any questions! I work for the school system year round. I am only available nights and weekends. I also love animals, so pets are a bonus, not an issue!
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
