My name is Kris lathem. I’m currently 54 yrs old and have 20+ years of experience caring for children ranging from newborns to pre-teens. I am currently living in West Palm Beach, Fl and will be moving to Greenville the end of August 2025 ( Possibly before. ) I am currently still with a family I have worked for the past 3.5 yrs. Two girls now 10 & 8 . I pride myself on creating nurturing, educational and balanced environments for the children, and assisting the parents with a seamless transition at the end of each shift. I previously worked for IBM for 6 yrs as a national sales representative. I have been incredibly fortunate to work for some amazing families over the years and hopefully, brought the same joy these children brought me to their lives. I have remained in contact with my past families over all these years. My experience has varied over the years according to the families needs at the time. □ Helped parents form a sleep schedule for the newborns. □ Assisted with feeding and bathing of newborns and children. □ Entertained children with toys and puzzles. □ Worked with children to learn colors, animals, shapes, etc. □ Assisted family with household chores. □ Ordered and maintained infant / childcare supplies stock. (diapers, ointments, body wash, lotions, etc.) □ Accompanied infant & children to doctor appointments □ Accompanied infant to swim lessons as well as taught children to swim. □ Coordinated daily outdoor activities. □ Assisted family with all household laundry and chores as well as groceries. □ Packed baby bag / child’s clothes for family trips. □ Cared for family dog (feeding, walks, medication). □ Dropped off and picked children off at school. □ Taken children to structured class/play activities □ Prepared healthy lunches and dinners □ Coordinated naps between activities □ Coordinated children’s after school activities. □ Led educational activities using flash cards and books I try my hardest to limit IPad and tv time.
