My name is Suray. I am the proud mother of two amazing young ladies ages 13 and almost 10. I come from a large Hispanic family where I am the eldest of eight and helped my mother care for my younger siblings. I worked at a YMCA in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and was involved in Multiple programs where I had the opportunity to work with children of various ages. One of the programs I was involved in was their after school program where I was responsible for assisting children ages 5-6 with their homework. Once their homework was complete we offered them a variety of activities, such as arts and crafts, games, puzzles, educational activities and sports. I also worked as an animator for their teen program. I get along great with adolescent kids as I enjoy a lot of the same things they do, such as playing sports, reading, Read more playing board games, video games, laser tag, watching cartoons/anime, baking and much more. I can be a lot of fun but I also have no problem setting boundaries and making sure that the rules are being followed. I have been working with a family exclusively since October of 2019 but due to a change in my family’s circumstances, I am no longer able to continue working with them.
