Hello, My name is Helen, and I am studying for a master’s in social work at Rutgers University. Although I am originally from England, I have lived in Sag Harbor with my family (husband and three children) for over fifteen years. I love working with children. I advocate for students with learning disabilities, and one of the most rewarding benefits is watching children make vital academic progress once they receive the help they need. I am trained in Orton Gillingham and The Writing Revolution and would love to help your child with reading and writing proficiency or homework. Additionally, I taught English as a foreign language for three years at an international school from kindergarten to 12th grade. I have worked as a teacher and advocate and have parented three children: twin daughters (now 16 years old) and a son (now 19 years old).
