Meet Christine

I am a 52 year old professional who recently relocated to East Hampton, New York from Los Angeles, California. While studying childhood development at Mills College I became very interested in the hospitalized child. After graduating I combined my love of the arts with my passion for serving children in need, co-creating a non profit organization that brings the world’s top circus performers to ailing children. Circus Remedy (www.circusremedy.org) has made over 50 visits worldwide, including collaborations with Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, Amma’s hospital and orphanages in Kerala, India, and countless children’s hospitals throughout North America and Europe. I have served as Executive Director of Circus Remedy for more than 15 years. I love working with and advocating for children of all ages. If I were to describe myself I would say I’m sincere, kind, with a drive for excellence in all that I do. I Read more believe learning should be fun and model this belief in my work. In my free time I love to read, take long walks in nature, and garden. I’ve been doing yoga for over 20 years, and am finally tackling my lifelong wish of speaking Italian.
