Monique is one of the best-- in fact, possibly the very best sitter we ever worked with. And that's a very high bar! We were fortunate to have a lot of great sitters we have kept in touch with to this day, but our particular scheduling needs this year meant we had to look for someone else this time. We feel *extremely* lucky to have found her (thank you sittercity!). She is truly professional, always punctual, very experienced, so kind and creative. Our neurodivergent 6-year-old loves Monique so much that he is visibly disappointed on the day she does not come. She's a very loving and caring person but firm in setting rules and boundaries with our child (something I really appreciate), and the games and pretend-plays she comes up with for our child are so dynamic and fun. I trust her 100% to take care of him and manage any situation while I'm gone. I have nothing but the highest praises for her. I would give her 10 stars if I could.

Monique supported our family with after school sitting and were we glad to have found her! She was super communicative, detailed, responsible, and went above and beyond, suggesting activities and other fun things. My 7 and almost 9 year old loved her. Would definitely hire again. Thanks, Monique!

Monique is one of those rare humans that truly thinks only of the child(ren) in her care. We have a 2 year old who is very smart and talkative and has a tendency to “direct” play—Monique encourages and relishes this! She always showed immense respect for my daughter while playing, gave her undivided attention, enriched their time together with outdoor experiences, books, music and more. Everything felt like a teaching moment when they were together. She has such a beautiful way with small minds, and also demonstrated respect for my own parenting style while she was in charge. After she left my LO would talk about her for hours and days! She’s prompt, communicative, creative and thoughtful as well. Very much a *professional* and a huge relief to any parent who wants that higher level of child care. Monique is an educator and a gem! We love her!

Monique has watched our toddler daughter several times for occasional daytime and evening sitting, and she is a godsend! She is incredibly patient and works with our daughter to reinforce routines (hand washing, going potty, bedtime). Not only that, but she is incredibly fun and engaged with her, whether she is reading books, singing songs, or playing with her at the park. Monique goes above and beyond to keep things enriching and engaging, even checking out library books on her own card for our daughter. Monique also takes time to give us helpful and detailed updates and photos, so we're well informed about how our daughter is doing. Monique is extremely professional, reliable, punctual, and pleasant. In short, we have nothing but great things to say and highly recommend her as a caregiver.

Monique was a joy to work with! She kept all three of our kiddos on 3 separate occasions while we went out in the city and they loved her. She was prompt, asked great questions and even brought some books from the library suited to each child's interest. We will definitely use her again while in NYC! Highly recommend!

Monique was the raddest caregiver and momentary mentor to my little five year old dude whilst I took my older daughter to a concert. If you’re in the city and need childcare, she’s excellent. Monique is communicative, direct, and funny.
