Nothing inspires me more than my time working with children! I find such joy in supporting children's growth within their own mind, body, spirit and intelligence. I create a calm and safe space for children, whether it's an adventure outdoors, or in normal day to day goals. I am exceptionally intuitive and compassionate- and I value building trust with a child, as I adapt to their needs throughout our time together. I encourage joy in discovery, empathy, responsibility, communication, and self love. Starting at an early age I was providing care and comfort to children, as I was the third oldest of 25 cousins. Since moving to New York, I have babysat for many families, all of which have resulted in long lasting relationships. I've had the pleasure of guiding many children towards expanding and sharing their imaginations, and I'm honored to have been apart of their self discovery, part Read more of their life journey. I have a MFA in Theatre! I’ve taught theatre, movement, and community building classes grades K-12;performed all over NY; and produced numerous Shakespeare productions- all free to the public. In addition to teaching theatre, I was also a teaching assistant in a preschool, and taught in separate classes with 2, 3, or 4 year olds. This past year I went back to school for a degree as a Licensed Massage Therapist/ Medical Provider. I finish in December 2024. References, CPR/First Aid/AED Certificate, Proof of Fingerprints with the DOE/DOH, NY Children Health and Safety Certificate, and teacher resume available upon request.
