Hello there! My name is Mara, I recently moved to Santa Cruz and I’m available as a part time baby sitter! I work full time as a preschool teachers aide and I have experience with kids ages 2 and up. My favorite activities to do with kids are arts and crafts, dress up and reading (my favorite childrens books are Pete the Cat and Fancy Nancy). In my own spare time, I create art, go to the beach and take care of my garden. I don’t drive but I easily can get around town by bus or walking, so as long as you are in Santa Cruz or Capitola location is no big deal. I care a lot about childrens health and safety and I believe its important to keep a close eye on kids I’m looking after. I also believe its important to be a great role model and Read more teach kids kindness, respect and sharing by practicing what I preach. I believe kindness makes the world go round and its very important to treat others the way you want to be treated. One of my strengths is staying calm under pressure or high stress. I believe that an escalated adult can never deescalate an escalated child, so when times are stressful I believe in staying relaxed, keeping a level head, and using creative problem and positive discipline. I am available 6-10:00pm weekdays and all day/evening Saturday and Sunday. I can provide proof of vaccines, a Livescan background check, CPR training and mandated reporter training. To reach me, please text or call me at (510) 918 4365 or email me at mwrightowl@gmail.com. Please let me know if you are interested and I will get back to you asap!!
