Hi there! I am a freshman student-athlete at UCCS originally from Arvada, CO. I am looking for an about 24-30 hour per week commitment this summer. (Available starting early May through late August). I am pretty flexible regarding days/times working so let me know what is most helpful for your family and we can create a plan! I have a car with a clean driving record and 2 years of previous summer nanny experience. I also have my seal of biliteracy for English and Spanish. I am currently a goalkeeper coach at Pride Soccer Club (working with kids ages 6-18), and as a result have first-aid, CPR, Safesport, and QPR training. I am happy to obtain any other certifications before/while working for you! Being a student is my first priority, and I uphold a 4.0 GPA studying psychology with a nutrition and physiology minor. Some of the services that I Read more am happy to provide as part of being your nanny include: - errands/grocery shopping - meal prepping and preparing meals (for kids and adults!) - booking/going to Dr. appointments - laundry - tutoring/basic Spanish teaching - housekeeping - watching friends/groups of kids - On the whole, I am willing to do/learn any extra skill that helps out if you have anything else in mind! I have the most experience working with kids ages 7-10, as that was the age of my last nanny family. Coaching has also provided me extensive experience with kids of a variety of ages, needs, and personality types. The traits I have that I think have allowed me to succeed in this position include, patience, empathy, proactivity, energy, curiosity, communication, and a love of connecting with kids! I am fascinated by integrated health and the power of nutrition. As a result, I love to teach/support general wellness and emotional regulation skills. I believe that patience and understanding are critical for effectively applying behavioral change. I also think that being active, in nature, and off screens is one of the best ways for a kid to embrace creativity, grow, learn, and thrive!
