Hello! I am Teresa, a sitter everyone enjoys! I worked as a nurse for 6 years in the Northern Virginia area and moved to Texas for a new beginning! I realized that childcare is really my forte. I enjoy interacting with children and engaging in learning. It brings me much joy to notice the kids I take care of have a trust and bond with me. I am their friend but also an authority. They are comfortable being themselves around me because I motivate positive behavior. If I can be an aid to such a bright mind and maybe influence just a little bit for them to be their best possible self then I will absolutely do it. The children are our future :) I am not only passionate about child care (and tutoring) but I have medical background. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I have experience with Read more children of all ages in a professional setting but also a personal one. I was always an aid for every single one of my brothers children! Any age is fine with me, they are in good hands :) I also have tremendous patience! Even with children that have special requirements. I volunteered many times back in my hometown at a school for special needs children. I am comfortable with many different settings and environments and even multiples! My max is 5. Haha! Very responsive and willing to work with last minute date night to watch the kiddos. Although we didn't get to book her due to original sitter able to watch our kids. She was very good with communication and all. Will use her definitely for future date nights.
