Hello! My name is Autumn and I am currently 23 years old. I graduated from high school in 2019 and am currently enrolled in a medical assisting program! I am looking for a family/families to regularly/ occasionally babysit. I grew up with two brothers one who is 2 years older and one who is 8 years younger. Throughout middle school I babysat for families in my local are for date nights and small outings and then in my early teen years I spent my summers babysitting my younger brother while my parents worked and babysitting my other younger cousins. In high school I did the careers in education program through my school where we got to be a cadet teacher for 3/6 hours of our day. I chose a first grade classroom my first semester and a kindergarten classroom my second. Through the education in careers program it gave me Read more experience in a classroom environment with things like circle time, crafts, and one on one learning with the students. The summer after graduation I nannied for a family with two kids ages 5&6 which was an amazing experience for me. After Covid I began working as a nanny/ caregiver for a family with two kids aged 9&12. My main duty was caring for the 12 year old as they were 100% dependent on care. Some of my responsibilities included meal prep, tube feeding, supply stocking, some Light housekeeping, etc. I had another position that was working with a 2 (almost 3) year old boy and his newborn sister. We did things such as going on field trips (parks, museums, libraries, splash pads, etc.) , read books, free play, practical life, and so much more! I have experience with Montessori and gentle parenting approaches as well as experience potty training, paced bottle feeding, and sleep training. My most recent position was working with an 8 month old infant and we did things such as read, play, go for walks in the neighborhood, etc. I am BLS/CPR certified and first aid trained as well as I have taken the Taking Cara Babies course. I have a background check as well as a driving record check for you if you would like to see it! I love all kinds of pets and even own pets myself! I am an energetic person who enjoys being kept on their toes!
