Being a babysitter is such an amazing experience. As someone studying to become an elementary teacher, these opportunities give me great practice as well as time with little ones who deserve someone who will take care of them while their parents are away. I do not know the exact number of years I have had experience, but I babysit for people at my church and teach those same kids on Wednesday nights. I have six nieces and nephews, giving me many opportunities when I was younger to watch after them and give myself experience even when I was younger. This summer, I will also be participating in Kanakuk Kamp, which involves being a counselor at a summer camp for ages 5-18. I will be getting my certification in CPR as well as safety precautions for any other occasion.
