(I started so I could stay home w my own son when he was an infant) I believe every child needs to feel safe and comfortable w their nanny/sitter, it's important they feel they are being respected, well cared for, and entertained/taught in a way the parents expect and the child feels comfortable and is encouraged by me. I think learning thru play and example are the best way, reading fun books, doing puzzles, nature trail walks while exploring leaves, trees, flowers, types of clouds, etc. Grocery store?
