Hi! I’m Evie! I’m an 18-year-old student just starting my first year at Las Positas College. I have over 13 years of classical training in piano, music theory, composition, and vocal performance. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and I love using it as a creative outlet. I enjoy writing my own music, stories, and poetry (especially with a friend) I am also diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and OCD. Growing up with these unique experiences was very challenging, with expectations of “fitting in”, societal norms and social cues. I struggled with even the simplest of everyday chores, motivation, and a daily routine was hardly manageable. I’ve always been more drawn towards making friendships with adults, younger kids, and neurodivergent people my age. It used to bother me a lot that I didn’t have a whole lot of friends, or people who made me feel included as Read more one. It hasn’t always been easy, and I’ll admit I’m still working on fully embracing myself, but I’ve come a long way and am excited to continue growing. I’d love to have the opportunity to be a role-model, creative mentor, or friend to someone you love. Whether it’s helping with homework, encouraging a child’s artistic side, or just being a kind and reliable presence, I strive to create a supportive and fun environment for anyone I work with.
