Mamie has worked for my family on and off for years. She watched my little girl when she was just two years old while I attended graduate school and my husband focused on his law career. Later, we asked Mamie to help watch our daughter in her last year of grade school as my husband I were going through a divorce; Mamie would come to both homes. We knew Mamie would be a grounding force for our daughter during this very difficult time. Mamie is one of the most responsible, intelligent and kind people we know. Our daughter considers her an auntie and they keep in touch to this day. What impressed me most about Mamie is her passion for childcare and that she was always up-to-date on the latest parenting trends. I actually learned quite a lot from her! Mamie is a very interactive, hands-on nanny. She often liked to take our daughter on fun and educational “adventures,” even if it was to the park or story time at the library. She was conscientious about our family boundaries and needs and would always go above and beyond whether it was keeping the home in working order, preparing meals for our daughter, doing light laundry or running errands when needed. Because of Mamie’s knowledge in childhood development and her emotional intelligence, she was very in tune with our daughter’s needs. It felt so good to know our daughter was safe and in good hands. I highly recommend Mamie! Your family will be happy you chose her.
