Hello! I’m a college graduate with a fingerprint clearance card and pages of references! 🤗 After two years at a performing arts school in Illinois, I transferred to ASU and graduated summa cum laude with degrees in Political Science and Anthropology back in 2007. After teaching public school here in AZ for a decade, I went on a sabbatical and worked as park ranger, a sports statistician for NCAA basketball, a cross country coach, and traveled. I got homesick and the mountains called me back to my beloved central AZ, so I decided to finish my graduate degree at NAU. I got hired on for the fall in Sublette SD #1, but don’t get paid until the fall, so I hope to help some people out this summer to stay on my feet. (You’ll also recognize me as your local friendly golf course bartender)! I have substantial volunteer hours working with large shelter dogs at the Humane Society and Animal Friends of the Valley, as well as exotics both personally and professionally at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute.
