Hi, My name is Clay Groves, I grew up in Des Moines Iowa where everyone in my neighborhood knew each other very well. I joined a community service group called the K.W.A.KERS ( kids with a kause) when I was around 7 years old. From there, My family moved to park city Utah, where I found new sports that I love, downhill mountain biking, freestyle skiing, hiking, ect. after graduating high school, I transferred to East Africa Tanzania for a semester of National Outdoor Leadership school that included doing volunteer work for a school in Tanzania, and climbing mt. Kilimanjaro. One of the biggest reasons for going is that I have a love for animals and nature. After Africa I studied outdoor education and psychology at north land college in Ash land Wisconsin for two years. recently, I attended wilderness therapy in bend Oregon for eighty days in hopes to one day be a wilderness therapist or field specialist working with young adults that are going through hard times. My goal now is to continue to challenge myself outside of my comfort zone in order to grow at what I am passionate about, humans, animals, the outdoors, and life.
