Hello! I’m Maddy, and I’d love to care for your pets with the same love and attention I give my own. While I may not have formal training or certifications in pet sitting, my hands-on experience with animals has shaped my approach and philosophy when it comes to pet care.

I’ve personally rescued two dogs and a cat, so I understand the trust it takes to open up your home and heart to a new animal. Growing up, I was actually scared of dogs, but my perspective has completely transformed over the years. My best friend owns a dog boarding and training business, so I’ve had the privilege of learning from them and interacting with dogs in various settings. This has given me a solid understanding of canine behavior, and I now approach every dog I care for with patience and empathy, always aiming to meet them where they are.

Although I’m not a professional dog trainer, my formal education in behavior principles has helped me understand the importance of positive reinforcement and creating a calm, supportive environment. I believe every pet is unique and should be treated with the respect and care they deserve, whether they’re a high-energy pup or a more laid-back companion. I focus on positive interactions to help build trust and a sense of security in your pet while you’re away.
