Animals have played a major role in my life. I have ALWAYS had them. I grew up with at least 5 dogs at all times and most of them were rescue dogs whether we found them, saved them from abusive homes, or from the pound. My mom was a dog trainer and shared a lot of the way she does things with me. I also had cats and again most of them were rescues. I rode horses since before I could even remember. I started competing when I was 7, broke my first horse on my own when I was 12, and have given riding lessons since I was 13.
