Hi, I'm Carolyn. I'd love to help you with your pet care, home care and adult check-in needs. I also love to work in gardens, so would love to help with that if you desire while you are on vacation.

I've loved animals my whole life and have always had dogs, cats and other small critters to love and care for in my home. My 2 daughters raised hamsters, mice, rats, gerbils, bunnies, and even a beloved ferret, Slinky. As a teacher, my classes had class pets and raised butterflies, ladybugs, stink bugs and designed an award winning Butterfly Garden for our school.

I've recently retired from elementary school teaching and am excited to put my energies into what had previously been my hobbies, pets and plants. Skills and experiences that I bring from my teaching experience can directly transfer to my new jobs helping you. Others have described me as kind, caring, organized, thoughtful and talented. I am responsible, honest, hard working and trustworthy.

My first new job after retiring was helping my best friend when she went on vacation. I stayed at her apartment and looked after her 2 spunky dogs and visited with her wonderful mom. 5 walks a day for dogs Peaches and Berry and many visits and movies with her mom made for a successful first venture into my new business. She has booked me for two more upcoming vacations.

I am a certificated teacher and graduated from Western Washington University, Magna Cum Laude. I also hold a Associates of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. Earlier in my life I was a Master Gardener with WSU Extension Service.
