Hi! My husband and I are newly moved to Seattle from South Africa. We are available to overnight house/pet sit together, and I am available to do house/pet/plant check-ins and dog walking.

Rates for Capitol Hill and nearby areas are:
Dog walking: $20 per 30-40 minutes
Pet/plant visits: $20 per check-in (I can also stay a while if you like, and spend some time with your animal/s)
Overnight stays: $50 per night (pet, plant, and house care included)

Areas further out are fine too, I'll just add a small surcharge for extra travel time and costs.

Nathan works at UW and I am a photographer, so travel sporadically but otherwise work from home. Nathan is pretty handy with DIY and we are both neat, responsible, and friendly individuals who LOVE animals.

We come from families that had dogs, cats, parrots, fish, hamsters, plus a few other oddities. I am capable of basic dog training (had a mild-mannered male German Shepherd which I used to train at the local GS club). We take pet care very seriously - I understand first-hand what it's like to leave beloved animals under someone else's care, and will do my best to take the stress off of you so you can have peace of mind while you are away from home.

We are both big gardeners and have a range of houseplants of our own (that are all healthy and thriving, I obsess about every new leaf especially from that total prima donna Maidenhair fern!!!).

For house sitting/ pet sitting we are a package deal, for home check-ins/pet check-ins or dog walking it would be just myself coming through.
