From March 2010 to March 2016 I was a volunteer Adoption Counselor for Purrfect Pals, a no-kill cat rescue shelter. Being an Adoption Counselor included feeding and watering the cats, playing with and socializing them, cleaning their litter and cages and most importantly, finding them good homes. I have a shelter cat of my own and have a great deal of experience with a variety of cats, mostly with mixed breeds, but have owned a Cornish Rex, Himalayan, and Exotic Shorthair. I've never met a cat I didn't like and have been called Cat Lady.
