Well, I guess I would be like everyone else on here in that I have grown up with animals my whole life. My life is only totally complete when I have a pet. I am the guilty one who would always take in strays, which is why my job in a shelter did not last too long. I have worked in a few vet clinics with one being a 24 emergency pet clinic. At this time, I only have a cat because my Rottweiler recently passed away at 13 I have had numerous dogs, rats and two ferrets in my life time and not to mention that I spent my younger years around horses.  I am a licensed pet sitter and certified in pet CPR.
I also currently volunteer with a resuce/sanctuary for cats, dogs and farm animals. You gotta love those farm animals...very peaceful. I believe that who we are is reflected on how we treat all animals.
My background is pretty diverse as I have worked in clerical, veterinary, travel and law enforcement and currently going to school to finish my Bachelors.
