I am a life long pet owner. I have had dogs and birds most of my life, cats for about 25 years. I have spent a great deal of time learning to care for and train pets. I own a home in Florida, where my last living dog resides with my adult sons. He is an English bulldog and I’m proud to say he’s approaching 13 years of age. However, I’m in Washington to help with my son’s young family a few days a week. I help care for my housemate’s pets when they have scheduling conflicts (dogs and cats) and we have a small flock of peafowl. I have also done some cat sitting in this area. I was considering getting my own dog, but worry I wouldn’t have enough time on my nanny days. That’s when I realized I might find that craving satisfied by helping others! I have some free time in my schedule to help out, and can even stay the day or night if needed. I’m happy to feed, walk, cuddle, play, give meds (I’m also a nurse), or pretty much anything else you need!
