There has never been a time in my life that I have not had a pet and my first pet sitting experience was for 6 horses and a barn cat at age 15. I have experience with some large livestock-pigs and horses and a lot of experience with small livestock and both furry and scaley pets. I was a 4H member as a youth and a leader to two clubs as an adult. I have experience in animal husbandry, as well as, 20+ years in the pet grooming industry. I managed a dog boarding kennel for 5 years and have other experience in a kennel setting. I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant and have pet/house sat for one of the Dr.s. I have also been employed by a cat boarding facility in Western Wa. I have medication administration experience including sub q fluid, insulin, and pilling. I enjoy interacting with all animals and take great joy in caring for them. I’m a responsible adult with a reliable car and don’t mind driving to care for clients pets for I am unable to board pets at this time. I currently have two beautiful standard poodles.
