Five years ago, that dream finally came true when a British Shorthair kitten came into my life, his plush red coat and green eyes capturing my heart instantly.

For years, we were inseparable - his regal presence gracing my daily routines with joy and comfort. But life had other plans, and now we live in different countries. He stays with my parents, where I know he's well-loved, but the distance aches. I miss his morning greetings, his playful antics, and the way he would curl up next to me during quiet evenings.

To fill the cat-shaped void in my heart, I've found solace in caring for other animals. Each purr and head bump from the cats I help care for reminds me of my beloved companion back home. Though miles apart, our bond remains unbroken, and my love for cats continues to grow stronger with each passing day.
