I have been a dog trainer for over 2 years. The most recent job I have had was as the dog trainer in Petsuites Naperville. My job consisted of training canines from huskies, German shepherd, Australian shepherds, and mastiff mixes to golden doodles, maltipoos, and many mixed dog breeds of different ages and sizes. I aided in evaluating dogs displaying signs of stress or aggression in the grooming salon, kennels, and play group. I have worked with fear aggressive dogs as well as canines with anxiety. I also did consultations with pet parents in order to better service them and adjust my training to their needs as well. I hosted dog enrichment sessions as well. I have also worked at Petco which is what brought me into positive dog training. I was a full time dog trainer and has handled dog breeds of multiple ages, backgrounds, and breeds from Sharpéi dogs to German shepherds to havaneeses to German shorthair pointers. I have many clients being Pitt bulls from American staffordshires to simple Pitt mixes. also worked with hyperactive dogs and canines with anxiety. I had to create a schedule for classes and do my best to accommodate both owner and dogs.
