I love animals! I'm currently a first-year student at Virginia Tech, studying animal and poultry science (pre-vet). I worked in an animal hospital in my home two for two years before coming to college, so animals and healthcare are nothing new to me. I volunteered at my local animal shelter for about six years as well, and now that I'm in Blacksburg, I volunteer at the Montgomery County Animal Care Center. I've pet-sat several different types of animals, including dogs, cats, reptiles, and small rodents. Working in a vet hospital, I have experience with tougher, less friendly animals as well.
