My name is Shannon, but most call me by my nickname “Cricket”. I have over 15 years of experience working with animals. More specifically: dogs and cats. I have also taken care of some reptiles, but my passion for dogs absolutely fuels me. I have personally owned 8 dogs and assisted many friends/family members with training and also provided care for their pets while they were on vacation or simply needing a check in while they went to work. I’m currently enrolled in online college classes and actively pursuing an associates degree in nursing science. I am an LPN, in current and unencumbered standing. I am compassionate and consider myself an advocate for both animals and people. For the past 5 years I have specialized in home care, specifically with patients at the end of their lives, working both privately and through a hospice agency. I am a valuable resource to anyone looking for assistance with pet care as well as care needed for any family member. Prior, I worked in nursing homes and before those days, I cared for individuals with developmental disabilities at day programs, within residential housing through agencies, as well as in their homes if they utilized the company’s services, but lived at home with their family. I adapt easily to any environment and if you, your pet, or a family member have a specific routine, I find a way to easily fit into both your routine and needs. My experience has made me a reliable, professional and compassionate individual while providing quality care to pets and people.
