I am experienced in caregiving for both dogs and cats, and I am more than willing to learn how to care for other animals if needed. My experience with animals began at nine years old when I would walk my neighbor's dog regularly. In more recent events, in this past year, I co-fostered two dogs from SPCA. Currently, I pet-sit for my friend's and roommate's dogs and cats when they need it. I became passionate about becoming a caregiver for animals from a very young age. It was one day when a dog came up to me, where I was a complete stranger to them, and even so, he gave me so much affection. He gave me kisses all over my face, he excitedly jumped on me, wagged his tail and jumped around in circles. He was incredibly happy. I felt so loved, and from that moment, I realized that I wanted them to feel the same love he gave me. Furthermore, when I co-fostered the two dogs, I saw how they lived their life in cages and their sadness and their change of living in my home. When they came into my home, they immediately lit up, they were so excited and I was happy for them. Even though fostering was temporary, it was worth it. I was able to give animals a home. A real home with a life of love and comfort.
