Hi! I'm Hannah, and I just moved to Seattle in September. I am originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, and I graduated from Kenyon College in 2016 with a Bachelor's in Sociology and a minor in Studio Art. I am currently the AmeriCorps STEM Enrichment Coordinator for a nonprofit called Making Connections, which is run out of the UW Women's Center. Making Connections is a college readiness program for first generation high school students, and my responsibilities include coordinating volunteers, creating career exploration programming, and much more. Last year, I was an AmeriCorps member for City Year in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Through this program I was a TA in an 8th grade English class, and served as a tutor and mentor to my students.

I LOVE animals! Growing up, I had cats, dogs, bunnies, and fish. Since I'm just out of college, I don't have a pet of my own right now - I don't think it would be fair to, given I work long hours and live off an AmeriCorps stipend. However, that just makes me want to get the chance to help other people's pets even more! Over the years, I've pet-sat a lot, mainly for dogs and cats. I'm happy to do overnight care, drop in care, and animal walking! I have experience doing all of these things. My pricing is flexible, depending on the amount of animals and how far I need to travel. I am a generally easy going, positive, and responsible person!
