I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish, horses, goats, pigs, and cows. I have owned pets, fostered pets, pet sat, walked dogs, and completed “drop-in” visits for 15+ years (paid experience). I’ve volunteered with animal shelters, foster programs, and therapeutic horseback riding facilities (for people who have special needs).

I currently own a German Shorthaired Pointer (aka a hunting dog breed). I have owned her for 7 years now. We have completed the following courses: Basic Manners, Advanced Training, Trick Training, Reactive Dogs, CGC (Caine Good Citizen), Public Access Test (Service Dogs), Task Training (Service Dogs), and we’ve complete a little bit of scent work training.

I incorporate as much exercise and mental stimulation into her life as possible. She isn’t interested in playing with other dogs or toys, we typically walk a minimum of 1-3 miles a day, in addition to complete king some training and/or interactive food activities to provide enrichment to her life and wear her out. I STRONGLY BELIEVE that a tired dog is a GOOD dog.

I’m very patient and reliable. I understand that animals are often considered family members. I have pictures, videos, references, reviews, letters, and some certificates to help ease your mind if needed. I am confident that your pet will be safe and happy in my company.
