While horses are my life, big or small, all animals are wonderful. I believe in meeting before the appointed date to write down notes on my charges and to get to know them so they aren't left feeling like a total stranger is invading their home when Mommy and Daddy are away. Knowing the animals' daily schedule helps me determine if their behavior is different from normal. While they will obviously be sad their parents aren't home, I hope to be the best substitute until you return.

Pets Owned: many rodents, several freshwater fish including bettas, cats, dogs, a horse
Volunteered to care for Blue Bird Gap Farm's stable animals including pigs, goats, sheep, horses, and cows.
Little to no experience working with birds, reptiles, or other exotic pets. I will NOT work with creatures like spiders and crickets.

I understand animal behavior and can act appropriately even around shy/fearful and mildly aggressive animals.

CPR Certified
