I am currently working full-time as a Veterinary Assistant at an animal hospital in Mechanicsville. I am also a full-time student pursuing a license in Veterinary Technology. I am a Longwood University graduate and I have been petsitting for about 16 years with plenty of experience with overnight jobs, light grooming, and training.

I took the Veterinary Science class at Hermitage Technical Center, where we took care of all different kinds of animals and had over 40 in class animals that we cared for on a daily basis. Additionally I am in full-time school online learning "veterinary nursing" to further my career in the veterinary field.

I have 3 dogs of my own. I have volunteer and foster experience with BARK (Bandits Adoption and Rescue of K-9's) for about 7 years and then with Morgan's Mutts Rescue and Adoption Center for a little over a year while I was living at Longwood. I also have experience with an equine rescue called VEWS (Virginia Equine Welfare Society) for a year and was able to learn about horses and get comfortable around them and their routines.
