Greetings! It's lovely to e-meet you, and I appreciate you taking the time to view my profile. My name is Ashley, and I'm a part-time teacher, animal lover, and trained opera singer, with decades of professional childcare and pet experience, a Master's Degree, plus CPR, First Aid, and Med Tech certifications. I own two wonderful rescue dogs, and grew up with family dogs and cats. I recently moved back to NYC from Las Vegas, where I was the Director of Fine Arts and the Lead House Manager for a series of treatment facilities for adolescents overcoming behavioral and mental health challenges. I taught art across five forms (music, theatre, dance, visual art, creative writing) to 120+ children, while living alone with 3-6 at any given time, acting as their primary caregiver and surrogate parent in a transitional living facility (my previous role included healthcare first responder duties). Prior to this, I've taught at private elementary schools, walked dogs in my spare time, have acted as Executive Director of two youth choirs, and have arts administrative experience at a youth orchestra. I simply adore working w/ animals of all ages and types. In my free time, I like to hang out with my family, am an avid reader, and also enjoy running (purely for the sake of eating cupcakes). Cuddling my dogs is also my favorite thing to do. I'm also in the process of learning to speak Italian and am a classically trained opera singer.
