I’m a recent graduate with a bachelor’s in animal science. I’m currently taking a gap year to gain more animal experiences to apply to vet school! My dream job is to become a veterinarian working with companion animals and wildlife.

I have gained my experiences with animals from working as a vet assistant and kennel attendant at veterinary hospitals. I also shadowed several veterinarians over the past few years and did a study abroad in India where I worked with many stray dogs and cats at a local animal shelter. In addition to those, I’ve learned a lot about companion animals through out my school year: first aid, CPR (not certified), general care, and so on.
