My name is Delora Johnstone. I am a 2nd year at California Polytechnic State University majoring in Animal Science on the Pre-Veterinary track. I have had a passion for animals since I was a little girl and began working with animals when I was 12 years old. I have always loved dogs, but could not have a pet because my mom is allergic. I began walking dogs around my neighborhood in order to get some “dog time” as my parents called it. As I got older, I continued to walk dogs around my neighborhood and around my town. I also began working as a kennel technician at Park City Pet Resort. I worked at this job for three years and ultimately stopped working because I was focusing on my school work and did not have time to go to highschool full time as well as work.
