Hello! I am a huge animal lover and have watched pets for friends and family. I have a border collie of my own that I trained since he was a puppy. I have experience with large dogs, small dogs, and cats. I have volunteered for years at both The Humane Society of Utah and Best Friends Animal Society.

If I was having someone watch my dog, things I would be happy to know:
1. My dog gets along with all dogs and cats. He is big on playing tug and fetch.
2. I have a very active lifestyle (hence why I have a very active dog) and take my own dog out several times a day whether it’s running, hiking, or simply on walks.
3. I do work from home.
4. I do not have a yard, but my home is a quarter mile from a big park.

Other information:
1. Despite not having a cat, my boyfriend and I are huge cat lovers and grew up with cats. (Our dog is his first dog, but my family had a dog as well)
2. I frequently watch my parents’ cat, and my dog and him cuddle up together.
3. We have taken our dog to my boyfriend’s parents’ home, and their cat did not want our dog near him, so after making that clear, our dog stayed out of his way while we stayed there for 10 days. Our dog will not be a problem if a cat is boarded.
4. I will never bring my dog by when doing a drop-in.
5. My dog will walk/run/hike off-leash on some trails, but I will not unleash anyone else’s dog (unless given further information i.e. a dog that behaves well to play fetch in a park).
