I have been owner to a 9-year-old Cockapoo and an 8-year-old Shih Tsu. They are the lights of my life. Having them since they were puppies has prepared me for the ultimate skill - patience. They need to smell the grass when they walk so let’s smell the grass. I don’t rush them. I have cared for children, the elderly, and doggies for a long time. I’m a born nurturer and love taking care of anyone or pets. We all need companionship and care and it’s a vital part of thriving within myself. Being a caregiver makes me feel I’m giving back, serving, and taking good care of people and pets. I get a good feeling when caring for others. I love being a petsitter because people need to know that their pets will be taken care of and loved when they are entrusted to a caregiver. You know you are loved when an animal follows you around. I can get stray animals to get in my car because of my body language. I do not believe in animal abuse of any kind and will readily report it. I rescue and feed strays and if they get in the car, I will take them to the nearest facility for safety and care. Animals need a special kind of care because their communication is different from humans. They can tell immediately if you are a kind person by your body language. I make every effort to keep them happy and calm. I love cats too.

If I’m given an opportunity to care for anyone or their pets, I will care for them as though they are mine. I'm a retired 63-year-old senior who would love such a position. My rates are negotiable so don't let that put you off. I also looking for long-term work. Hope to hear from you.
