I have had pets all my life and have always enjoyed caring for them and being around them. I currently have one dog and one cat who have their own special needs. I have worked at a doggy daycare and boarding place where i had to supervise playtime, feed 30-60 dogs, sanitize/wash kennels and play area daily. I currently work at animal hospital where i assist the veterinarians and vet technicians with restraining pets, prepare the surgery and dental equipment in a organized manner, administer medication and vaccinations, disinfect contagious rooms and recovery kennels daily, go over surgery discharge instructions with clients. As well as monitoring surgery, drawing blood and urine. I love working with animals and plan to pursue a career in this industry.
