I have about 3 years worth of pet care experience, but I have loved animals my whole life. I have previously worked as a pet groomer’s apprentice.

I have an 8 year-old Australian Shepherd mix. She is very energetic, and she has taught me many things about being a pet parent. I believe that positive reinforcement works wonders compared to scolding! I love going for walks around the neighborhood and playing at the dog park. I believe that a dogs active life depends on their breed. For example, since my dog is part herding breed, she has lots of energy that we need to get out before bedtime.

I include pets as a part of the family.
