As a dog owner since 1990, I have raised 5 wonderful dogs (3 labs, 1 boxer and 1 beagle). I have no formal dog-training experience, but have used the internet to access specific information, like controlling behaviour, potty-training and walking.

I feel like a general program of making clear expectations, repeating commands, rewarding positive behaviour and lots of praise will produce results, sometimes more quickly than you would expect. Healthy treats add to success.

I am 69 years old, in very good health and in good shape for helping with a large dog. As a retired school teacher, I have a desire to care for living things and also to be very patient. $35 for an hour would include me being completely responsible for the dog during that time. I am happy to take the dog to be groomed, walked, and trained for that amount.
