Pets add such a great positivity to our lives! I love my pets. My kids love our pets. We currently have a 14-year-old Maltipoo named Snuggles and a Cotón de Tulear named Buddy. They love treats, to go on walks, and to snuggle up and get love. Buddy belongs to one of my young kids. She entered a dog training class with him, and he learned basic obedience and novice dog tricks. (It's fun have a trick dog who can weave in and out of poles and go through a tunnel and just do silly tricks). I took her to these classes and assisted in the training/education. Believe it or not, we are the ones who need the training. As long as we, the owners, are consistent, the dog catches on quickly. We have had fish for 9 years but recently gave that a break. We know how to clean the tanks. We have watched a Weimaraner, both in our home and at the owner's house. We have watched a Chihuahua, both at our home and at her house. We have also had experience watching class pets over extended holiday breaks. We've watched a hamster and a bearded dragon. We had to trouble shoot when the bulb in the bearded dragons cage went out. We bought a replacement bulb. Since they didn't have the exact bulb needed, we had to monitor the temperature closely to ensure it didn't heat up too much. The bearded dragon remained comfortable and When it comes to pet sitting, I have found that the easiest way to ensure the pet is comfortable is to speak with the owner. The owner knows what the pet is accustomed to. Rarely do we need to contact an owner to figure out what is wrong with a pet. We do send updated photos to the owners so they can see that their pets are in good hands while they're away. Thank you for trusting us with your little loved one.
