My name is Shatara White and I am 22 years old. I'm from Ravenel SC. I am currently a college undergrad student. I originally went to Francis Marion University to study Psychology. I am now at Trident Tech until I move to Columbia to finish undergrad at USC Columbia. I've always had a passion for animals, especially dogs.

For about 4-5 years I have watched my family’s and friends’ pets while they were away on vacation or work. I have walked their dogs, fed them, given them water, and played and loved the dogs. I also have taken care of them while visiting them at their home, both dogs and cats. I have always had pets in my home and currently have a dog of my own that is very well taken care of. I have loved dogs since I was very little and have never had a dog that react to me I a negative way. A lot of times people will be shocked at how well I get along with certain dogs that don't really warm up well to others. I love every moment I'm around pets and enjoyed every time I have had and will continue to have taking care of others' pets.

Another experience I have that will be beneficial was working at Petco for a year and a half. I was always exposed to different animals; however, dogs were the main ones. I can help with simple training tips, grooming, and assist with eating healthy as well. While working for Petco, I also volunteered with the Charleston Animal Society and Pet Helpers when they came in on the weekends. I know I would be a great pet sitter for your furry baby.
