I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and parakeets since I was a child. I currently foster dogs that have medical or age related issues including hospice. I also have some experience caring for horses. My current dog is a failed foster who has skin allergies and eye issues that need frequent treatment. I am comfortable giving meds as needed. Sadly, I lost a beagle to diabetes complications who was on 2 insulin shots a day. My cats are seniors and require special diets and frequent trips to the vet. I have always had a love of animals and was involved with tnr and feral cat care for years. I have seen a lot of medical issues so I can tell when an animal “is off” most of the time. Animals hide illnesses very well, especially cats. I would love the opportunity to care someone’s pets when they aren’t able to do so for whatever reason. I know what it is like having an emergency but your pets need to cared for, especially when they need medication.
