I'm a very nurturing, patient, and loving mother of a very happy, creative, and active 13yr old daughter. My daughter has ADD and dyslexia. I especially enjoy working with children with special needs and disabilities.
I have up to date fbi, child and criminal backgroud checks . They are needed to volunteer as a cyo coach and as a volunteer at my daughter's school.
I have a huge passion for mentoring and caring for children. I currently coach CYO softball, volleyball, and track.

I have experience with Montessori and traditional education techniques along with knowledge of the arts and great communication skills with teens and preteens. I especially enjoy working with special needs children. I have experience working with children with ADD, ADHD, along with Dyslexia, Down Syndrome, and Autism. I come from a large family of 5 children. I have 26 nieces and nephews ranging in age from new born to 31yrs.. I enjoy spending time entertaining them along with being there for them to guide them through any challenges life may throw towards them.
In the recient past I worked in the medical field  as a pediatric and adult medical assiatant for over 12 years. I also worked as a dental assistant.
I have volunteered as a teacher's aid in my daughters pre-school for 3 years and I currently volunteer at her middle school as a lunch mom and a library aid.
I enjoy being active with the children I care for, from playing sports, cards and board games, creating arts and crafts, to helping them with homework as well as just sitting down and communicating about current events and everday happenings.
I love all kinds of animals from amphibians, reptiles, to great danes. I'd be willing to assist with pet care as well.
