I reside in Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania out the mountain in the bear creek area and have 5 outdoor feral cats, 9 indoor cats of many breeds, and two wonderful dogs Apollo and Kendra. I have been dedicated to the care of animals through pet sitting, volunteer work, and much personal experience for over 29 years!
I work closely with my local animal shelter to trap neuter and release feral cats in my community, and I actively donate to the ASPCA and North Shore Animal League.
Healthcare is a main focus of mine as i personally have had multiple pets that have needed medical care as well as client pets who's animals have had medical conditions. I am skilled and comfortable administering oral medications, or performing medical maintenance activities such as shots for diabetes or other conditions. I am also very close with a local vet if needed in case of emergencies.
Overall I have a great love of animals and you will see my commitment from the first interaction with your furry family members!
I will make a written report whenever I visit about their care, activities (poops and other), their daily nutrition, exercise, and demeanor.
I always notify my clients immediately if I see any health issues or behavior problems arise however minor or serious. With that said, I require a cell phone and a backup number be provided for communication while I am sitting.
I can also provide support doing local errands, cleaning, yardwork, as well as vet visits if needed.
